Let's get this party started

I want to start writing more. Sharing more. Thinking out loud more.

I was thinking back to some of my more formative years and how much of an impact getting my thoughts and ideas down on paper helped me develop those ideas. Slowing down and allowing ourselves to actually formulate thoughts, without constraint is an art that seems to me lost by most, especially with the current social media haze that we often find ourselves in. 

So I want to write more. I also want to write freely without constraint. One of the best decisions I made as it relates to my development as a youngster and eventually spilling into my career was making a conscious decision to shift my focus from playing music to becoming a better writer back in my high school days. This will serve the same purpose, but hopefully the upside will be so much greater.

Maybe this will encourage actual discourse around the things that matter.

Maybe my experiences, shared through writing (and photos) can help others take a leap of faith, chasing after those things they are perhaps destined to chase but never had the confidence to make the move.
